"After years of struggling to find holiday cover for my husband and I, I fell upon a flyer for Mornios Contract Herdcare in a dairying magazine last December. On contacting Carl we arranged 10 days of cover and booked a holiday for August. On arrival Carl had a day and a half with us to get familiar with the routine, we immediately sensed his wealth of knowledge and experience with cows and the management involved.We left the farm without worry and full of confidence in him. On our return we were very pleased, our high standards had been maintained throughout. Carl had some difficult decisions to make with regards to treatments and grazing conditions, the weather was so bad he housed the milkers on the 11th August which maintained yields and the cows looked great. Carl was not fazed by the Keenan Pace feeding system which has been a stumbling block for many others and worked extremely well with our staff sharing his knowledge.
